What I do

I design logos and labels, lay out magazines, create retail displays and 3D renders, and build websites and online shops.

You can ask me for just one thing or put several together, and you always deal with me, from start to finish.

Graphics

I give a brand an identity and a shape, on paper and on screen. It starts with the mark that makes it recognisable and goes all the way to everything that ends up in people’s hands: posts, printed pieces, the pages of a book. More on this on the art direction page.

Branding

/1 · Logo · identity

Logo, colour palette, typefaces and the rules for using them: what a brand needs to be recognised. We can start with just the logo or go all the way to the complete system, with a brand manual that keeps it consistent even when different suppliers work on it. More on this on the brand identity page.

Print

/3 · Flyers · posters

Business cards, flyers, posters, brochures, invitations, panels and window graphics. I hand over files ready for the printer, and I think about the paper and materials too. More on this on the print design page.

Editorial layout

/4 · Books · magazines

Books, magazines and catalogues. I start from the content and take it all the way to the print file. If needed, I also design the framework from scratch: the grid, the typefaces, the rhythm of the pages. More on this on the editorial design page.

(02)3D and visualisation

3D

I build and show what doesn’t exist yet, as close as possible to how it will really be. That way decisions get made before anything is produced, and a product can be shown before you have it in your hands.

3D modelling

/5 · Displays · retail · architecture

Models built from technical drawings, a survey or your own brief: shop displays, architecture, products. For a display, I take it as far as the production drawings for the manufacturer. More on this on the retail and window displays page.

Rendering

/6 · Photorealistic

Images that look like photographs, with materials and lighting worked out piece by piece. To present a project, for a catalogue or for a product launch. More on this on the 3D rendering page.

Photomontage

/7 · Real setting

I place the model into a photo of the actual site, with the same light and the same perspective. That way you see the finished project before it’s built. More on this on the photomontage page.

Aerial photography

/8 · Drone · ENAC

Drone photography, for a survey or to see a place from above. The shots can become the base for a photomontage. I hold an ENAC drone pilot certificate for the A1 and A3 categories. More on this on the aerial photography page.

(03)Websites and online shops/9 · Websites · shops · custom software

Web

I take your identity online, from the first idea to the live website. I also build the tools you need to get your work done, such as a bespoke management system for your business. More on this on the web design page.

Design

UX · UI · SEO

I start from what visitors need to do when they land on the site, and design the pages in line with your brand. I also write the copy and optimise it for Google, so the site gets found by people looking for what you do.

Development

Shopify · WordPress

I build the sites I design myself, so nothing gets lost along the way between the design and the live site. And I use Shopify or WordPress so that it stays yours: you can change text, photos, products and pages yourself from the platform’s editor, even if you’ve never done it before.

The shop

E-commerce · catalogues

If you sell online, I design the shop and the product pages, and retouch the photos so the catalogue reads like a collection. When there are lots of products I bulk-import them: product pages, photos and prices go in all at once, and get updated the same way.

Custom software

Bespoke · apps

When no off-the-shelf software fits, I build a tool around the way you work: a management system, a members’ area, a mobile app.

For Almas, who organise hikes in Tuscany, I built the system for managing their outings: the organisers can see on their phone who’s coming, who still has to pay and who’s on the waiting list.

How we get started

  1. (01)

    You get in touch

Tell me what you need, even in a couple of lines. I’ll reply personally, and we’ll find time to talk it through properly.

  2. (02)

    We talk it through

I ask what you do, who it’s for and where you want to get to. If it isn’t the kind of project where I can give you my best, I’ll tell you straight away.

  3. (03)

    The quote

I send you the stages, timings and costs, with what’s included. If the budget is tight, we start with what matters most.
