For Pac Team Europa I designed the display islands for Haier wine coolers, then built them in 3D and rendered them: an island that stands in the middle of the shop floor, with the coolers lit and, on top, the logo with four icons.

Four versions of the same island

Haier needed an island to present its wine coolers in electronics stores. The coolers stand side by side, switched on and stocked with bottles, so you can see them doing their job.

There were four versions, and you can see three of them here: V1, V2 and V3. The parts are always the same: the platform, the coolers, the header with the Haier logo and the panel with the icons. What changes is how they come together: in V1 the header is dark and sits above the coolers, in V3 the panel is light and a column carries the logo vertically.

Four icons explain what a wine cooler does

The header carries four icons, each with a single line of text. They tell passing shoppers what a wine cooler does: it keeps wine at the right temperature, shields it from light and odours, and keeps it still.

The Haier logo is in opal acrylic: it stands 4 mm proud of the panel and is lit by the LEDs behind it.

  2. 02UV filterShields the wine from sunlight.
  3. 03Activated carbonKeeps strong odours out.
  4. 04No vibrationThe wine stays still and protected.

Comet, for the shop short on space

One of the shops had no room for the full island. Comet was created for that shop: four coolers and, instead of the header, a box with an illuminated logo, readable from both sides.

It’s smaller, but you can tell straight away it belongs to the same family.

In 21 shops since July 2025

I designed the islands for Pac Team Europa, who make retail displays. Then I built the 3D model of every version and produced the renders for the proposal to Haier.

The islands went into production in 2025, and since July 2025 they’ve been in 21 electronics stores across Tuscany, Lazio, Marche, Umbria and Emilia-Romagna.

These renders date from 2026 and show the finishes of V4, the final version: the oak, the black metal ramp, the landscape screen. The set is 3D too, with the burgundy backdrop and the marble plinths.

(Got a display that needs sign-off?)

I build every version in 3D, so your client can compare them before a single one is produced.
