3D rendering

I make 3D renders that look like photographs, with materials and lighting worked out piece by piece.

They’re for presenting a project, a catalogue or a product launch. I build the 3D model from technical drawings, a survey or your own brief, and then the set around it: a boutique, a shop, a photo studio. I work from Cecina, in Tuscany, and I can run projects remotely as well.

The product before it’s in your hands

Displays, furniture and interiors built in 3D: for a proposal that needs signing off, for a catalogue, for a company website.

Questions about 3D rendering

  • How much does a 3D render cost?

I don’t have a price list: every project gets its own quote. Once we’ve talked it through, I’ll send you the stages, timings and costs, with what’s included and what isn’t.

  • What do you need to make a render?

Technical drawings, a survey or even just your own brief: I build the 3D model from there. I can also start from models that already exist: for Holm & Nesti I adjusted the seating to the right dimensions and finished it in the collection’s materials.

  • Render or photo shoot?

A render doesn’t need the product: it can be done even when the piece doesn’t exist yet, and I build the set in 3D. That’s how I did the whole Holm & Nesti shoot, with coloured backdrops, softboxes and a spotlight, just like in a photo studio. That way decisions get made before anything is produced, and a product can be shown before it’s in your hands.

  • How long does it take?

It depends on how many pieces and how many scenes are needed. I set out the timings in the quote, stage by stage, before we start.

  • Can I use the renders for a catalogue or on social media?

Yes. For Holm & Nesti the renders became the catalogue photos, for Cashmatic the images for the company’s website and materials, for Evergreen the campaign.

(Got a product to show before it exists?)

I build it in 3D, piece by piece, and show it as if it were a photograph.
