Displays and windows

I design point-of-sale displays and window displays for shops, and I build them in 3D before they go into production.

I start from technical drawings, a site survey or your brief. For a display I go all the way to the production drawings, so whoever makes it has everything they need. I work from Cecina, in Tuscany, and I can run projects remotely as well.

From concept to shop floor

A counter display, display islands, a colour wall, boutique furniture and the windows of a jeweller’s shop, all with Pac Team Europa, who produce them.

Questions about retail displays

  • Do you also prepare the production drawings for the manufacturer?

Yes. For a display I go all the way to the production drawings. For Fujifilm I prepared the technical drawings for production. For the Sikkens Colour Wall I updated the technical drawings, designed the templates for positioning the samples and prepared the print-ready artwork for the trays and the colour names.

  • Can I see the display in my shop before it’s made?

Yes. I build it in 3D and put it in your shop: either in a shop rebuilt from the survey, as with the jeweller’s windows, or in a photo of the real space, with a photomontage. That way changes are decided on screen, before anything is produced.

  • How much does it cost to design a display?

I don’t have a price list: every project gets its own quote. Once we’ve talked it through, I’ll send you the stages, timings and costs, with what’s included and what isn’t.

  • Do you work with companies outside Tuscany?

Yes. The Haier display islands are in 21 shops across Tuscany, Lazio, Marche, Umbria and Emilia-Romagna, the jeweller’s windows are in Milan and Rome, and the Maybach furniture is designed for boutiques anywhere in the world. I work from Cecina, in Tuscany, and I can run projects remotely as well.

  • Do I need a survey of the shop?

It helps, but we can also start from technical drawings or your brief. When space is tight, the survey makes all the difference: in the jeweller’s windows there was about 60 cm between the glass and the back, and every piece had to be drawn to the millimetre.

(Got a product to display?)

I’ll design your display, from the first idea to the drawings for the manufacturer.
