Brand identity
I design brand identities: logo, colour palette, typefaces and the rules for using them, everything a brand needs to be recognised.
We can start with just the logo or go all the way to the complete system, with brand guidelines that hold it together even when different suppliers are working on it. From there the mark carries through to everything else: labels, print, social posts, the website. I work from Cecina, in Tuscany, and I can run projects remotely as well.
A mark people recognise
A winery, a training lab, a seaside hotel, a supplier to tradespeople and an outdoor clothing brand: identities built from scratch or developed from an existing logo.
Questions about brand identity
How much does a brand identity cost?
I don’t have a price list: every project gets its own quote. Once we’ve talked it through, I’ll send you the stages, timings and costs, with what’s included and what isn’t.
What’s the difference between a logo and a brand identity?
The logo is the mark. The brand identity is everything around it: the palette, the typefaces and the rules for using them together. For Etruria Wellness, as well as the monogram, I developed a pattern and chose a typeface that stays legible even at small sizes, in posts and stories.
Can I start with just the logo?
Yes. We can start with the logo on its own and build up to the complete system later, when you need it. You can also ask me for just one thing.
What goes into the brand guidelines?
The rules for using the logo, the palette and the typefaces together. They keep the brand consistent even when different suppliers are working on it.
Do you redesign existing logos too?
Yes, without throwing away anything that makes it recognisable. For DEL I took the existing logo, worked on the proportions and the pictogram, and moved the rivet above the L. For Hotel Atlantico the logo was already there, and I built the visual language from there.
